U.S. Military Use Counterfeit Goods Made in China

Counterfeit goods made in China was also haunted the U.S. military. Counterfeit parts are also found in the SH-60B helicopters, C-130J cargo plane and the C-27J and P-8A Poseidon used by the U.S. Navy."Our report illustrates how the swift flow of counterfeit goods, mostly from China, had threatened national security," said Sen. Carl Levin, who chairs the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee, told Fox news station website."The Department of Defense and its contractors have to tackle these problems more aggressively, especially because the counterfeiters are now more sophisticated in protecting their goods from the observation," said committee member, Senator John McCain.Apart from China, Canada became the source of counterfeit parts supplier for U.S. military equipment.
